raising the level

We have all been on minimum wage at some point.  We all know how much it pains to have to live on the measly amounts that we can get from lower paid jobs.  I started at 16 on £1.67 an hour....

Luckily these days the minimum wage is much better, and it is set to be more so.

The hourly rate for workers aged 21 and over will increase from £5.93 to £6.08 from 1 October this year. Rates for younger workers and apprentices will also increase, and accommodation offset rates will rise to £4.73 per day, to a weekly maximum of £33.11. Find out what this means for you and your workers.
